UN Agency Joint Project "Integrated Support to the Rehabilitation of NBC Adjacent Area"
Under the ECHO funded project “Integrated support to the rehabilitation of Nahr El-Bared Camp (NBC) adjacent area”, UNICEF, UNRWA, UN-Habitat, ILO, UNDP, and UNRC are working together in the surrounding area of Nahr El Bared (NBC) Palestinian refugee camp, referred to as the New Camp. The project, implemented under the auspices of One UN, seeks to enhance the living conditions of the population in the camp through three major components i) Coordination of recovery efforts ii) Rehabilitation of basic infrastructure and iii) Capacity building of the Municipality of Mhammara in terms of service provision and joint Lebanese-Palestinian committees.
